Terms and Conditions at Lollyworld a World of Lollies are easy – Shop, Pay, Eat  🙂 Please take the time to familiarise yourself with the terms below prior to purchase.

Lollyworld will be closed for our annual break from
Saturday 12pm 21st December and reopen Monday 13th January 9am
The last day for posting online orders will be Friday 20th December.
Keep an eye on your email for Australia Post notifications (and check your junk folder)
Orders received after the 19th December, will not be sent until the first day of reopening.
Emails and phone messages won’t be answered until the 13th January 2025.

All communication is by email, please check your junk folder, as sometimes my emails are seen as spam.

Delivery costs will depend on your location and the weight of your order. Once you enter your shipping details in the check out, your shipping cost will be automatically calculated, for you to select, prior to purchase.  Please check you have selected a shipping option prior to confirming your order. If a postage option has not been offered, please check you have entered your address correctly. An example of an incorrect suburb entry is Surry Hills, Sydney. These are two separate suburbs, with separate postcodes. Sometimes your payment option can override your delivery address, you may have to reenter your suburb/postcode correctly in your payment option especially using PayPal and Apple Pay. If your order comes through without postage paid you will be notified via email, and your order not sent until postage is paid.

Orders pending payment will only be held for 7 days before being automatically trashed. You will receive an email in regards to whether you would still like your order before this happens. 

In the hotter months we recommend your order be shipped with Cool Protection for an additional fee. If you would like to add this to your order do so in the cart. We highly recommend using this protection for Chocolate orders to help maintain the quality during delivery. Your order will be shipped in a Chilltainer cooler box with an ice brick.  Chilltainers are 95-97% recyclable and biodegradable. 

**Please keep in mind during Summer it can be well over 40 degrees during transit and cool protection may not be 100% effective*** 

Please reconsider ordering chocolate during the Summer months. High temperatures can result in melted chocolate and will not be replaced or refunded if this is the case. Your order is shipped from Brisbane and can get well into the 30’s during Summer and cool protection can only help so much.  If you have placed an order in these conditions, we acknowledge that you have understood this recommendation but are still happy for us to post. It is still safe to eat melted chocolate and often it will keep its shape, just place it somewhere cool and dry, not the refrigerator, for it to reset before handling them too much.

Orders are usually shipped within 2 business days of your order date(not including weekends or Public Holidays), providing all products are in stock. You will be emailed if they are not in stock, so please give a MONITORED EMAIL address with your order. If we have a question about your order, we will not ship it until we have received communication from you, this communication will be by email. Items can sell out before being deemed “out of stock” on the website, especially over the weekend. We can offer a similar product or refund the amount paid for the unavailable item, if you don’t wish to wait for the item to be sent when in stock.

Parcels shipped out by Lollyworld to Australian addresses and PO Boxes, will have online tracking and your email address will be used for this, you will receive emails notifying you of your parcels destination. They will require a signature by the addressee unless you advise authority to leave. This is at your own risk, as we cannot be responsible if this is the case and a parcel goes missing. If the Australia Post deliverer deems the property not safe to leave a parcel it will be taken to an Australia Post outlet. You will also receive an email of this. Calling cards are no longer left in mailboxes. Proof of addressee will be required if collecting from the post office. KEEP A WATCH FOR NOTIFICATION BY EMAIL. CHECK YOUR JUNK FOLDER. Sometimes the emails are deemed as spam and get sent to your junk folder.

Orders are shipped from our Brisbane store providing payment has been received. We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Paypal, Direct Deposit and Afterpay. Mastercard, Visa and Paypal are immediate providing there are enough funds in your account. If you have not paid for shipping, you will be notified by email and payment options will be given.

If the delivery has not arrived in a reasonable time frame please contact us to check the tracking of your parcel or you can do so via the link you are sent in your tracking emails. Please give us an email address you CHECK REGULARLY. Be aware of delivery times. You can check this out at Australia Post Delivery Times our postcode is 4501 Lawnton. Type this in the “FROM” section and type your delivery address postcode and suburb in the “TO” section.

All items listed are inclusive of GST. Most items from Lollyworld are price marked, if your items are to be given as gifts please advise us and we can leave out a receipt and remove the price label for you. We will not remove pricing unless told to do so. We recycle as many cardboard boxes as we can, so open your package, as the outside will most times not reflect what’s inside. 

Approximate Delivery times for metro cities from the date of shipping in business days, not including weekends or Public Holidays. 

  • Brisbane – 1-2 days
  • Sydney – 2-3 days
  • Melbourne – 4-5 days
  • Adelaide – 4-5 days
  • Perth – 5-7 days
  • Darwin – 6-8 days
  • Express Post takes 1 to 3 days depending on location. **Remote areas may take longer. 
  • No delivery times are guaranteed.
  • Delivery is within Australia only.
  • Delays can occur around the peak times like Christmas and Easter, and during harsh weather events like flooding.

Refunds

If there is a problem with your order please contact us immediately to resolve the issue. This needs to be within 5 days of receiving your order. Items will need to be returned for inspection, at your cost. We are easy going, practical Australians that are very approachable and appreciate mistakes are made.  All our products are in date and of excellent quality when they leave, that are checked prior to delivery by the Chief Taste Tester. Please choose carefully as we will not refund or accept returns for food products that differ in taste or texture to your expectations. If you receive damaged stock please keep the product and call or email us. 

Please note that all our products are packed in the same premises as products containing peanuts, other nuts and gluten. We are well aware of dietary and health needs and all care is taken to avoid cross contamination.

If you have given a wrong address, we are charged for ‘return to sender’ without notice from Australia Post, so for us to resend your order we will have to charge you for postage again. If we have written the address wrong, we will pay for any resend fees involved. If you would like your order forwarded elsewhere whilst in transit, you can do this online from the link in the Australia Post notification you will get. If you need to return an order due to change of mind or incorrect choice of lolly/colour then return delivery will be at your cost. When we have received the returned item, we can refund for the product only, not postage.

Lollyworld will not share your details with any party not associated with the delivery of your order.

Your credit card details will not be stored at all. We use Stripe Payment Gateway off site as our credit card processing facility.

We use SSL Security to protect your details during the Checkout process.

What is SSL?
SSL stands for Secure Socket Layer technology which protects any information that is sent to, from, and during the order process in your online store. When a browser is pointed to your secure domain name, an SSL handshake will authenticate the server and client – it then establishes an encryption method and creates a unique key to safeguard that session. Its visibility, in the form of a padlock on the site, provides customers with added confidence in your position as a legitimate company. Although an SSL certificate is not essential, it is strongly recommended as it protects information and customers.

Emails
We will not send any unsolicited email to your inbox or share your contact details with anyone outside of the order and delivery process. The emails we do send will be in regards to any questions or the progress on your order. If you have subscribed to the Lollyworld email newsletter you will receive regular updates. Approximately 1 email a month. You may opt to subscribe and unsubscribe to our Email Newsletter when creating an account with us.
